  1. they go by your current rating and the opponant you play  so if your rating is 1200   look to play someone in 1400s  and the max points you go up for a single game is 26 points.   if you play someone at 1200 youll only go up 2 or 3 points and less if you play someone skilled under your rating. hope this helps.
