Does anyone know how to align certain characters in Microsoft Word 2007?

I'm doing a kind of acrostic poem but the letters of my name do not start at the beginning of the words they are randomly within the words. I'm trying to align the document so that the letters in my name are aligned vertically in the center of the page.

I doubt Word has such a feature.  You'll have to add preceding blanks to each line, I'm afraid.

There should be a "center" option that looks like a bunch of lines centered.  That's at the top of the screen under the "file" and "edit" options.  And when you're done with a line of the poem, hit the "enter" button to start a new line.
