It will depend alot on what exactly the grant is for and what type of education eg primary, secondary, return to study for mature age etc.

Also depends on where you would like to study as some of the institutes offer grants through an internal application system. Eg LaTrobe uni offers grants in memory of deceased founders. Some Art schools offer a few places each intake that are scholarship positions. Sporting clubs or institutes also offer similar options. Usually applications must be made direct.

Other options might be through the department of Veterans affairs if for example you were a relative of a veteran you might qualify for a veterans grant.

The grants and scholarships are usually very specific so more info would be needed to provide more help!
