The blade has snapped, so there is only about 1cm left to grab hold of!! we have tried pulling, twisting etc (it looks like it should just twist and pull out) but to no avail!! There isn't any buttons or switches to turn, and we are at a loss!! Any help is much appreciated!!

  1. In the handle directly over the blade is a deep hole. You insert a long thin bladed s***w driver into this hole all the way down. Twist slowly and it will locate with a s***w. Undo the s***w and then twist the remaining piece of blade 90 deg and pull. Replace new blade in the opposite way. Twist it so that the cut is to the front and then tighten up the s***w. Do not tip up the unit while doing this as the s***w might drop out and you might loose it.

  2. Look down from the top, there should be a hole. you need to insert a long thin flat bladed s***w driver in there and turn it anti clock ways to release it then twist the blade out from the bottom. Don't unscrew it fully, just enough to twist the blade out.

And don't forget to tighten the s***w after you replace the blade.  Take a look at the link below, it has an exploded view of that model and look at part number 40, 41 and 42. Part number 42 is the s***w you need to undo..  Hope this helps.
