Does anyone know how to clear the contents of a memory card?

I have a Sandisk 236 MB memory card. I want to clear out the contents so i can load new music onto it, but i dont know how. Help?

Yes, the contents of the memory card can be deleted. However, you may not be able to do this depending on the brand of your camera. i know with canon's, and you have to do is go to the menu ( while reviewing your pictures), and then press " delete all ", and everything will be erased, including the videos, it doesn't only refer to the pictures.

however if your brand of camera doesn't allow you to do this , just put it in a canon and delete the images, ( just don't put the memory card in a camera that has lower megapixels than in the camera you recorded them in )

I presume that the easiest way is the following.

Insert the card into your computer, when asked click on the link that says open files or folders.

Then when it appears go into each folder if any press and hold Control and A and then press the delete key
