Does anyone know how to cook dumplings or shumais, if theres a website with pictures that would be nice, tanx?

Well..my mom makes them.  You have to get a bamboo steamer, you know.  Those things that they're usually served in at Chinesse restaurants.  Then you have put water in a big pot.  Put a metal stand in it...and put the steamer on top of the stand.  The water shouldn't touch the bamboo steamer of course....and steam away. =D

Oh and you can also fry your dumplings...not the shoumais.

Ouch... I don't know what a "shumais" is.. I'll have to look that one up.  What kind of dumplings are you interested in?  If they are made of bread dough, then you have to cook them fast and cool them or they get mushy... but then you know that, don't you.!

Anyway, cook them first then take out & let cool while you cook the rest of the stuff in the pan, then add them back in just before serving.
