Does anyone know how to cut & Paste?

Question

I received an e-mail for a mailing list. they said They add names to their list only after verifying the recipitents permmision they,re asking me to cut & paste the URL into my web browser. how do I do that? I go to Edit & I go to cut& click on but nothing happens. same thing for paste. Help! I,m new to the computer.What,s a web browser?

ok, you highlight what u want to copy, then click Edit, Copy. Then just click where u want to paist it and do Edit, Paste. \

A web browser is a program used to reconize HTML format, like Mozila Firefox and Internet Explorer.

I'm not too computer saavy either.  But you move your mouse across it while holding down the left button.  Then hit control key and c.  That will copy it for you. Then you go to the thing on top (the address bar)  and hit control key and v and it will copy it into the web browser.  But make sure you delete whatever is in there first.  So far, that's the only way I know how to do it.

You highlight it, by holding down the right mouse button and put it over the text you want to copy and paste. Then, as the text is highlighted, you click the left mouse button and you will see a copy button click it, then wherever you want to paste it, left click the mouse button and click paste. First ask yourself: did you GIVE them permission? Is this something you requested??? Quite a few nasty people send out emails like that to get you to sign up but they are just fishing and you never requested it.

1. highlight the URL with your cursor (left click on your mouse at the beginning and then go over it until you have the entire URL highlighted, then you can let go of your mouse button)

2. Edit copy

3. click on the address bar

4. Edit paste

5. Press Enter to confirm your subscription.
