  1. http://jonathonruckman.nowcasting.com

    Click resume page

Headshots are your first audition make them your best.  Need not spend a ton of money but they most certainly matter unless you go to alot of general open calls for both theater  and  films. Then the poloriod they take will be find but nothing says professional like a good quality headshot. Cover letters are a waste unless you send them to an agent and even then you have 3 seconds to make the first impression.  (Your smiling face on a headshot) but unfortunately  most casting directors and agents are under the gun and dont have time to  sit and read  a letter.

A few words  like I am performing in Rent this weekend come see me I'll leave tickets a the Will call window.

  2. go to actinginfo.blogspot.com and talentagents.blogspot.com for any info u neeed for agenns go to the talent site click table of contents and click city nearest u n search around and u will learn alot but always remember a real agency is free they only get 10-20% of ur income!

  3. I'm sure you'll get LINKS offered, I'll just offer the same as I always do. Certainly some of the links for theatrical resumes are valid, and at the very least, offer a format of how to present yourself.

You're essentially looking for a JOB; promoting yourself and your qualities. This is a PROFESSIONAL experience.

Education matters, even including any related to theater, and any degrees.

Experience matters, most especially in a list of performances, and/or credible credentials, that show some theatrical involvement.

      References matter.

Emotion, and "I wanna Be",,, do not matter, although a cover letter, well written, about goals, might.

A head shot may or may not matter.

Age may not strictly matter, although a minor would have consent issues, and signiture issues.

Passion matters, but it need not be dripping off the resume paper.

    Just my 2 "scents"
