numbers in ** are powers. eg. 2*6-x* is two to the power of six minus x.

simplify: 2*n+2*6*n-4*/(12)*n-1*

solve for x

2(9)*2x-1* - 5(3)*2x* + 18 = 0

solve for x

2(25)*x+1* + 5*x+2* - 3 = 0

solve for x and y

5*x-2y+1* = 25*x-2y* and 4*x-y+2* = 32*x-2y+1*

find the coefficient of x*5* in the expansion of (2x+3)(x-2)*6*

thanks, if u only want to answer one question that is still GREAT. i jst totally failed my test and really need to know the answers to what i did wrong, cause theres a remed this week. thanks!!

  1. i would answer but the layout is too confusing to work out haha

  2. i have solved all the problems but i think that second and third problem might be wrong because their answers were awkward here are the answers

    1. 3^(-3)

    2. x=0.684535123243

    3. x=1.4306765580734

    4. x=5 y=2

    5. coefficient of x^5 in the expansion of (2x+3)(x-2)^6 is 84

  3. woah! 2^n+2 times 6^n-4/(12)^(n-1)..

    answer:

    (2^n+2){6^n-4(12^(n-1)..

im supposed to answer it but ur questions is so complicated..

i got confused with ur ^ and ur * ..

    i'm sorry..

  4. Tip:

when asking for math help, * is an expression of multiplication, whereas ^ is an expression of powers. For example, 5*5=25; x^2=x+4. If you would like to express a segment of an equation that must be done first in order of operations, set them apart using ( and ). For example, 6^(x-5) is six to the power of x minus 5
