a spring bounces up and down according to the model d(t)=0.5 cos 2t, where d is the displacement in cm from

the rest position and r is the time in seconds. The model doesn't consider the effects of gravity.

a) Make a table for 0 is <_ t<_9, using 0.5-s intervals.

  1. If I understand the question correctly, then all you need to do is plug &#039;t&#039; into the equation for d(t) for t = .5, 1, 1.5,...etc. and solve for each.  For example, you&#039;d get:

    t = .5 =&gt; d(.5)= .5*cos(2*.5) = .5*cos(1) =.27015 cm

    t = 1 =&gt; d(1)= .5*cos(2*1) = .5*cos(2) = -20807 cm

    and so on...
