Does anyone know how to find when new business {not restaurants} are going to open up in the area???

I want to know when there will be new business in my local area {Long beach, Ca} so I can advertise my services to them. I don’t want restaurants, but mainly realtor, office managers or business selling products.

you will find DBA notices in your local newspaper.  this is a great source for a mailing list..... also check out the yellow pages for prospective customers....

You can go to your local Chamber of Commerce.   They will let you know new and upcoming businesses in your area.  You could even join them. Also, make sure you research all of your local newspapers, they list all the newer businesses in the area.
