Does anyone know how to get a pic-in-pic or pic-and-pic screen on a TV?

Its soo confusin. We have a Normonde 42" flatscreen, and the things are capable of the TV but we dont know how? We have a TV box, and its obviously connected, but how do u get 2 different channels? Do you need 2 different cables? Or any other things you know about this! We get 2 screens showing the same channel and nothing i try works!

  1. The picture in picture fuction of a tv only works if you have an hdmi device connected to your tv but say u were watchin off your tv box and you had a blu ray player or maybe an xbox360/ps3 connected via hdmi then you press the pnp button on remote and it will display that hdmi device on screen as you are still watchin of tv box.  The hdmi device will prob have to be set under the pnp menu on your tv.


  2. make sure it doesnt have two cable in's if u do, you'll need a splitter w/ another cable (jumper) to the 2nd cable in. but, u on that 2nd channel, you'll only have analog, compared to digital, lil diff w/ hd. if u put on pip, neither of the channels will have hd.
