Does anyone know how to get a turtwig in Pokemon Pearl?

Can anyone tell me where I can find a turtwig?

As a starter Pokemon, or on GTS. If you have a friend with another copy of the game and they started with Turtwig, you could always trade with them. I got all the starters at the beginning by trading with my friend and we both started with all three starters.

the only way to get turtwig is to start with it or get some1 to trade you 1

You can't unless you chose it as your Starter Pokémon. If you chose Chimchar or Piplup, the only way to get one is to trade one with your friends or on the GTS
