I'm trying to go to a concert at the Bakersfield Dome on Saturday and I don't know how to get there unless by AMTrak. I never took the AMTrack before and it would cost me $50 dollars to get to backersfield and back. I don't have that kind of money and i don't know how to get to the LAX Union station for it. If anyone know what bus goes to that station that would be great or someone could tell me if some bus or metro train goes there cheaper. Anyone one if fine, if its cheaper that would be even better. Please help me it would help me alot.

  1. Please be aware that "public transportation" is mainly designed for commuters. If the concert you are going to ends late at night you may have a problem getting back home until the next morning.

Greyhound Bus Lines can take you to Bakersfield. Amtrak does not offer "rail" service to Bakersfield, they transport you on an Amtrak bus. Please check the schedules of what ever method of transportation you use so you don't get stranded in Bakersfield overnight, and enjoy the concert.

  2. Greyhound and it will be close to that or more fuel ain't cheap these days. Or hitchhike.
