Does anyone know how to get in to a career (or side career) in web desing?

I really enjoy it and want to take a class to improve my skills, but am worried about actually finding work after I do so. Anyone have any suggestions?

You should should learn how to spell  before considering web design.

it's difficult because web designers are a dime a dozen I hate to say it.

But create a portfolio is the first thing to do.
