Check out Lowe's or The Home Depot for some Goof Off 2.  This stuff really works!

varsol or thinner will not  get latex paint out..and it will take the color out in the spots you use it on..I am a 37 year experienced painter and we use Denatured alcohol...some will soon suggest oops or goof off..but careful this product will also miscolor your carpet if not careful..Here is a link concerning this..it also tells you goof off will harm the finish on  items like i suggested at top..oops and goof off are the same chemical compounds...Denatured alcohol is avaialble at wal mart,home depot,lowes ace hardware and many other diy stores..here is a picture of it...It is available in quart cans for around 5.00
