you really need to know what type of ant you are dealing with before anyone can tell you a good answer...there is no "fix all" answer for ant problems, but I can tell you forget the bit about ants and corn meal..it's just a myth, plenty of research out there showing it doesn't work along with corn farmers lose money from crop loss from various ant

If they're in the house, wipe down their marching grounds with vinegar. Afterwards, feed them corn meal. You can leave it for them on flat dishes. They eat it. They take it back to their nest and feast on it. They can't digest it and it kills them. Also, corn meal won't harm children or pets.
