I don't know if this is just a coincedence but ever since I got a bf and we started making out maybe germs transfered or whatever but, when I brush my teeth my gums bleed. I brush and floss twice a day and I've been to the dentist for a clean up but it didn't help. I've had it for about 6 months now.. Any tips?

  1. I doubt it is gingivitis...as far as I know with that you can't get rid of it.  Just don't brush or floss so hard...and stop making out with boys.

  2. listerine my darling

  3. lol did you mean gingavitis or ginavitis their different you know

Gingavistis is agum disease which if you have you need to use listerine a lot it will help

Ginavitis is a common problem among males in which they think they have a v****a and exhibit ***** like behaviors (I.E> emo's) this can be treated with repeated punches to the face and a haircut

  4. Well, gingivitis is a disease.  You'll need to seea doctor for that.

If you and your boyfriend have been doing some heavy duty french kissing, I doubt you got gingivitis from him....you don't get it that way.  In fact, your teeth are probably CLEANER.  Did you know that making out is good for your oral hygiene?  It is.  There's your excuse.  lol

Maybe you should see your dentist again.  If your gums appear really red, and are sore and irritated, I would worry about it.  If not, maybe see your general practitioner.  Ir could be something completely different.

Maybe...just maybe...if you get nose bleeds often and have heavy periods also you have a fairly common bleeding disorder known as von Willebrands.  Your doctor will need to take blood and do a platelet aggregation test to see, but it's worth a try.

    Good luck.

  5. Bleeding gums are not good.  See a dentist for a proper diagnosis.  Brushing and flossing may not be enough.  You may need to see a dentist more frequently than every 6 months to reduce tartar along your gumline (which causes the gums to become inflammed and bleed).  They may recommend a Waterpik or a really good anti-bacterial mouthwash designed for gum disease (if this is indeed what you have).  Best of luck!
