Does anyone know how to get stains off a lino floor?

Over the past year and a half in my rented flat the lino on the kitchen floor has accumulated a few stains. One is from a curry which was spilt and left overnight and now is disturbing bright yellow colour. The other is a print from a Tesco bag. Any ideas on how to get rid of them before my landlord sees them would be appreciated.

Those new 'eraser' type sponges have worked on every substance I have ever tried to clean.

dude have you ever heared of simple green? that stuff will remove stains out of anything, for carpet just add a little water, but yea dude just a little simple green and an old cloth or towel will remove that stain in no time, just add simple green to the stain and just scrub clean

try an oil based cleaner (avon skin so soft or murpys' oil soap)
