Does anyone know how to get the doors and shutters off of a step 2 plastic playhouse?

I want to paint them, and it seems as though they should come off. What gives?? Can anyone help me?

They usually aren't screwed on the door is assembled by the buyer and the shutters are preassembled. They usually are just fit into notches and grooves. If you house is older give it a good cleaning first to remove any sticky dirt and grime then try putting a lubricant like dishsoap or WD40 along the joints of the shutters and doors and give it a hard push to move them - just be careful you don't push too hard or you'll break the fitted pieces off and won't be able to reassemble.
