  1. they are called Power Fail Phones.

    Good, old fashioned, POTS phones, that connect to the CO lines, and stratically placed throughout the building, so that when you lose power, you still have telephones.

    OR a HUGE battery backup for the PBX and a generator.


  2. All it would take is a small battery backup system. Shouldnt cost more than $200.
