Does anyone know how to get three phone numbers on one phone line

Your telephone company can do this for you. Each telephone number will have its own distinct ring. One may be the traditional ring you're accustomed to while the other two rings will be shorter or longer bursts. The owner of each ring will know by the burst if the incoming call is his/hers or not and can therefore choose whether or not to pickup/answer.

The only drawback to this setup is when there's no one home. Different rings (bursts) are indistinguishable to your answering machine. When you playback messages on the answering machine you listen to everyone's messages... yours as well as the messages that are for the users of the other assigned numbers.
