Does anyone know how to get to Splish Splash from sunnyside by train?

The LIRR does have a package (round trip rail, bus and park admission)  to the park but it appears you will have to go into Penn Station to buy the tickets and get  the train.

You have to take a Ronkonkama train to Ronkonkama and then get a express shuttle bus (note: this bus is probably only be accessible by those who take the package offered by the LIRR).

Sunnyside, NY which is really a part of the borough of Queens.  I don't know which subway line you are near but to get to Penn Station:

E train to 34th St/Penn Station.

7 train to Times Square, transfer to downtown 1,2 or 3 train to 34th St/Penn Station.

N train to 34th St/6th Av/Broadway - walk over to 7th Av/33rd St for Penn Station.

V to 34th St/6th Av/Broadway - walk over to 7th Av/33rd St for Penn Station.
