Does anyone know how to heal or make a bruised tailbone feel better? I was told you cant heal a tailbone but then I have heard that you can so I was wondering what type of ways there are and how can you make the tailbone feel better in the process. My doctor told me to sit on this doughnut pillow and it hasnt done anything for me. Has anyone found anything to get rid of the pain?

  1. Get some vaseline and put it on the place that hurts rub it untill you can't rub anymore then sleep on a cool pillow.

Im not saying it'll work for you, but it does for me

  2. pick me plz!!

put a pack of cold ice on it. it will numb the pain.

  3. take advil a few times a day. It is an anti  inflammatory compared to aspirin (a blood thinner.)

If you are at home, lay on your tummy instead of you toosh, And try not to fall on your butt again.

You more then likely bruised your tail bone. And the Brains in the medical field have yet to figure out a way to help it. You can try to ask your best buddies for a massage, But I don't thing they will help you any.

  4. DONUT PILLOW ANYONE?

  5. I bruised my tailbone in march and it hurt really severly for the first month or month and a half, but after that it slowly went away.  The best thing you can do is give it time to heal.  Even if your tailbone is fractured you can't do anything.  There is nowhere to put a cast.  My doctor prescribed aleve but any anti-inflamatory pain releaver will help.  I've also heard of a cream that is supposed to help, but I never tried it. Just try to not sit directly on it and a donut pillow really helps.  Mine is still getting better and hurts when I sit on it for too long.  Not a fun injury. Good luck!
