Does anyone know how to hem a skort?

I'm going back to school in 5 days, and my uniform skort [[skirt with shorts inside]] is ridiculously long. I'd really like to hem it, but I'm not really sure what the best technique to use is. I need to make a straight, long lasting hem that won't come undone. So can someone please help me?

Would you need to hem the short part?  Or just the skirt part?  You should probably take this up with your parent.  If you hem it without their permission, and end up not abiding by the dress code, you'll be in for some big trouble, because those uniforms aren't cheap.

hello  ,if your skort is long enouth in the crotch  turn the band at the waste  and if it fits  then take it lose at he  band and him to fit  or just  him each leg as short as you can go  to look  like  a skort , the band is the best way to go . hope this helps .
