Does anyone know how to install Tiger Claw deck fasteners properly?

Trying to build a deck and want to make sure I don't jack up the wood.

  1. They are a great evolution, and the answers so far are valid. I'll offer a suggestion, even after you GET IT regarding the instructions.

       Spend the pennies and the time to practice OFF DECK.

  2. Tiger Claw fasteners can be tricky the first time you use them.  I would suggest looking at the 4 page installation instructions & video at the 2 references below.  One is a pdf and the other has an actual video. Hard to post videos here so that should help out quite a bit.

  3. the fasteners are easy to install in the box there should be a composite plastic block used to drive the points into one board stand on the board when you install the tiger claw then put the s***w in use a sledge hammer and a piece of scrap wood to install the next board, if using trex decking you may find it neccessary to pre drill holes for the tiger claw in which case do not over drill use a bit smaller than the point on the tiger claw. it is real easy but time consuming but the end result is worth it
