Does anyone know how to keep birds from crash-diving into my patio doors?

Once a week or so, I have to remove dead birds from my patio..or else I hear a thump and see an obviously dizzy bird wobbling around on the patio.How can I stop them from knocking themselves out and killing themselves on my door??

try puting stickers or something on your doors so the birds know theres an object there and not to run into it.

get like bird feeders and put some treats in it that birds will like.  instead of the birds crashing on your window, they will be attracted to the feeders!  good luck!

you could buy some tint or get it screen in my neibor had cranes bang on her glass that what she did it worked

Make a large X on your doors with Duc Tape. It will cut down the reflexion and stop the birds from slamming into your sliding glass doors...or you could take a bar of soap and "soap" them...either way, you'll save the day! kjl

Quit that Windex Fixation of yours!  You are worse than the commercial!  My windows have never been that clean to have ever had this problem and I doubt at this time of my life, it is going to happen....But I an anxious to hear some good solutions from others who are faithful cleaners...

try shutting the curtians or hang sun catchers from the inside of the door.

Get a large fake owl and place it outside of the  patio doors. The birds will avoid the area. Good Luck!!!

Put something big and distracting on your window.
