  1. put it in a baggy with about a teaspoon of olive oil. Shake around to just barely coat, then stick in the fridge.  Works great.

  2. Well, you have to put it in a container that has a lid.  I don't know what kind of spaghetti you made, but I have never heard of it getting hard.  I think that if you put in a air tight container, it shouldn't get hard.

  3. yes, cover it lightly in liquid oil depending on how much you have use one tablespoon and mix well. I use peanut oil its less fating and healthier.

  4. The olive oil works or if you have any spaghetti sauce left, mix in enough with the spaghetti to coat it and the spaghetti will absorb the moisture in the sauce.  I haven't had the spaghettie turn mushy or anything from doing this either.

  5. I add the sauce to the pasta and just microwave it to  re heat.

If you do not have leftover sauce or don't want to do the sauce do what they do in restaurants, store it in cold water, put the pasta in a plastic bag and add some cold water, that will keep it separate.  When you want to reheat just bring some water to a boil and add the pasta.  It will heat in a matter of minutes.

If you add oil to the water or to the pasta it keeps the pasta from absorbing the sauce and the sauce just drips off the pasta.  I never add oil to the water.  The only time I add it to the pasta is when I am having an oil based sauce.

  6. if its just the spaghetti noodles we   put them in a zip lock back and when we get ready to use them  let them thaw and then  leave them in the bag pandaput them in the microwave  They will not  be hard   we do all our bread and pasta this way and its good  I often wet a  hand towel and wrap around the bag  not tight   just for the moisture    Try this  it works

  7. The left over Spaghetti needs to be cooled down quickly under cold water. Drain it well sprinkle a tiny drop of olive oil on it and place in the appropriate sized plastic container with a tight fitting lid.

To reheat bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil then drop in the pasta (carefully) for 1-2 minutes maximum then drain.

  8. i actually wanted to kno this too

    :)

    olive oil eeeh?

    good good

    thanks

  9. You would need to make sure it's in sauce.  I eat leftover pasta all the time and the only way it will not get hard is if it's in sauce.

  10. uhh what any normal peson would do.... but it in a container and either store it in the fridge[if your going to use it the next day] or the freezer.

  11. I rinse the spaghetti with cold water and put it cold into a gallon size zip lock bag, add a cup of cold water in the bag.  Then let the bag sit in a bowl in the fridge.  When you are ready to use it, drain in the colander and run hot water over it.  Sometimes, I use hot water from the tap, and sometimes I boil in my tea pot, and pour that over it.  Works for us!

  12. Mel and Kat got it. I usually rinse with cold water and coat with olive oil. Put it in a freezer bag. Refridgerate.

  13. Next time you cook it keep the sauce and the pasta separate.  Then just portion out the pasta on the plates and pour some sauce over it.

You can then just toss the remainder of the cooked Pasta in a little Olive oil and store it overnight and have a separate container for the sauce.

  14. The olive oil works.  The other thing is to rinse it with boiling water when you get ready to eat the left overs.  That should soften it up.

  15. When you get fininshed eating what you want for supper, pour a little melted margaring(1/2 melted, soft), over them and put them in an airtight container. Oil or olive oil will work also. It will last a couple days. Use them for mac and cheese(instead of macaroni) or just sautee mushroom, garlic and green onions in margarine and pour the noodles back in there. Add a lil salt n pepper maybe some parmasen, u got a whole other supper.... Or pepperoni and spaghetti sauce and melt som mozzerella on it  yum.
