Does anyone know how to make Velcro grip after lots of use?

  1. You really can't do much for the plastic loop part.  Overuse causes the loops to straighten over time, rendering it useless.  The fuzzy part can be cleaned with a lint comb.  Other than that, replacement is the answer.


  2. I renew its grip by brushing with a suede shoe brush. It has small copper bristles which remove fluff from the hook part and it helps to fluff up the fluffy part

  3. once it has gone that is it, you can buy it in strips and replace it, hard to stich in place mind you

  4. Pull the fuzzies out.

  5. Try to clean all the bits of fluff that will have accumulated in the velcro. Hope that helps. Unfortunately Velcro doesn't last indefinitely.
