Does anyone know how to make a Berlinberger?

I found them in Eindhoven recently, and they were immense!! I'm fairly sure this is what the were called as well... They were donughtish in texture but in a big ball with a slit cut in them and sweet cream added. Tasted a bit similar to churros, but without the chocolate and with cream!

  2. I'm german and pretty sure you mean a "berliner", which is just another word for doughnut. But ours are not round with a hole, they are round like you discribed, deepfried, and people put jam or cream inside with a cooking syringe. Then dust them with icing sugar.
