Does anyone know how to make a contract for a DJ at a wedding?

I want it to be from me to the the DJ with time lines and price with deposit included. Blank lines all that jazz

  1. If the DJ is with a reputable company, he should have a contract with blank lines to fill in certain stipulations, and he should fax it to you for your approval and signature before you give him the payment for his services.  It's the DJ's responsibility, not yours, to draft a contract, but it is your responsibility to read it over thoroughly, request that any changes be made, and only sign it when it meets your complete approval.


  2. The first answer is correct - the DJ should already have a pre-written contract for you to sign. Make sure you read it carefully and ask any questions before you sign ;)
