Does anyone know how to make a fisheye for a digital camera?

id like to make one for my digital camera.

maybe using house held items.

or

preferably that doesnt cost alot.

any tips?

  1. there at 2 ways u can product fish-eye effect:

    1)  get a SLR camera with fish-eye lens (that's $$$ if u don't even have a SLR to start with)

    2) use software like PhotoShop to add the sphere effect, it can product a fish-eye effect too.

    good luck, (I didn't tell u the 3rd option, u can put a fish eye in front of your camera lens, that's the true fish eye image, lol)


  2. Believe it or not but I made a fish-eye lens by using the largest peep-hole that you put on your door to see who is out there before opening it.

    I mounted it on an adapter that screwed into the camera and it worked fine on my old film cameras. On the digital cameras you may have a problem with metering.
