Does anyone know how to make realistic fake blood from household items?

Tomato sauce sprayed over people looks pretty realistic but you can always make your own from vaseline, red food die and flour. That one is really sticky and messy though, so I would recommend using tomato sauce.

Wanna use what the pros use??? Karp syrup and red food coloring!!! Karo is just corn syrup, so you can use the store brand and come out cheaper. You can also use a paste food coloring instead of the liquid for a deeper red and it will look more real. Just a reminder... FOOD COLORING STAINS CLOTHES!! So wear clothes in your film that you either want to throw away, or look like an ax murderer every time you wear them! Good luck on your film, sounds awesome!
