Her store closed down and email doesn't work but I assume the dresses can't be that hard to make. I assume you cut out the fabric for the front and back and again for the lining, lay it wrong side out and sew then sew two sides together after flipping? No clue on measurements, arm holes, neck..etc. Any help or sites that can help would be so appreciated! Thanks!

  1. Unless you are an experienced seamstress, stick to a pattern. :)

The dresses on the blog seem fairly straightforward and you can easily find those kinds of patterns by going through the pattern book at the fabric store. The hardest thing is to add the applique on top. If you have a machine that does embroidery, you can do the lettering as shown on the blog. The shapes are more difficult and you will have to play with that some.

Here are some pattern suggestions to get a similar look:

  2. i couldnt get the website to show any dresses at all. if you could post a pic maybe we could figure it out.

  3. Those bubble rompers are just as adorable ON as they are in pictures. I loved the one DD had as a toddler.

Here are some romper patterns on ebay. (some will have appliques and fabrics that look too dated, but you can easily update).

An online search for "bubble romper" or "baby romper" should bring up a lot, too.

From my experience sewing, it's better to get the easiest pattern you can find. Things with "Easy" "Simplicity" in the title are good. But yeah, it doesn't look too complicated.
