Does anyone know how to make your own cookbook??

I dont want my cookbook to be published or anything like that but I would like to put a cookbook together for my boyfriend and I I have collected some recipes I have found and went on word processor and typed them up and put them in a elimanted folder and than into a binder but i was wanting to do something more creative any suggestions I was thinking it would be cute to pass down one day.

  1. There are several websites that will print and bind your books for you. The price ranges from about $13 on up to over $100 for a single book. You can print just one book for these prices. They include photos and you build your text online. If you have a Flickr account, these all can use photos in your Flickr photostream.

I'm doing the same thing with my mother's recipe box.  I inherited it.  Same thing, word processor with pictures added.  I'll either bring the printed version to Staples (or alike) and have them bind it or get 3 ring binders with those page protectors.  If there is too many pages, I'll copy the book to disk and send the disks.

  3. Try http://www.tastebook.com/ -- it allows you to compile and print your favorite recipes into a binder cookbook (personalized). You can even post pictures. It is great. Very easy to make, right now there is a 20% discount end of summer sale.
