Does anyone know how to play straight ball for pool?

Need a short, informative answer on how to play straight ball...

Do you mean straight pool?  If so, the WPA link provides the official rules.  The wikipedia link provides a clearer summary.  Basically, you keep pocketing balls until you miss, scoring one point for each ball you pocket.  When there's one ball left on the table, the other 14 balls are racked again and you keep going.  Games are usually played to 100 or 150 points.

all you have to do is pot any of the balls until you miss then it is the other persons go

hit the cue ball on the bottom, so that it will not follow the other ball into the pot.
