Does anyone know how to prep walls for paint if they have a Venetian wax finish.

We are considering purchasing a home that has a Venetian wax finish on some of the walls. Does anyone have any experience in what you have to do to prep the walls prior to repainting them? I don't like the look of the treatment.

Contact Hallman linsley or your local paint dealer.  It may be time consuming but they know the best way to prime any surface.
