I'm trying to get something I have on dvd onto another dvd (nothing illegal, home video) but I have to put it on a vhs first before I can dub it to dvd. I can't figure out how to do it and I can't find the manual that came with my dvd recorder.. it's a magnavox, if that matters. :)

Thanks.

  1. jus push the record button

  2. Go out on the DVD player to in on the VHS player, put the DVD in and, then put a blank VHS tape in the VCR  press play on the DVD player, and record on the VCR at the same time.

  3. Yes... but be careful... some of them are COPYRIGHTED!  Get a dvd player (personal) and a VCR, hook the yellow, white & red wires, to the ADUIO & VIDEO jacks, put VCR on LINE channel, & your tv on CHANNEL 03... then play the dvd and record it from the tape, on the VCR.

Remember... DON'T SELL them!  It's p****y and will get you 03-05 & pay $250K fine!

  4. You need to plug your VHS AV cables (red white and yellow cables) into the back your DVD player and then put a blank VHS tape into your VHS player, play the DVD and then hit record on your VHS player.

  5. the easiest way is to take it to a camera shop in the mall. they only charge like 10 bucks for it and they usually do great work.

  6. Plug the scart lead that goes from the back of your DVD player to your TV into a VHS recorder instead.

The VHS will pick up the scart signal and you can record it as you would a normal TV program.

  7. you use the dvd and put it into the computer copy the file and then burn it onto the other cd
