Does anyone know how to remove a date stamp from a picture once you take it?

I took a bunch of pictures with my Kodak Easyshare c875 camera and realized after that the date stamp was set for the wrong date. So now all my pictures claim they were taken in 2006. Is there a way to remove the date stamp from a picture after the fact? I took like 200+ pics and i'd hate to have to photoshop and crop all of them. : (

  1. the only way I know is to clone over it, crop it out, or in your case change the 2006 to 2008.  Sorry....not much help!

  2. Try the clone tool & erase them into the background.

  3. Bad news:  The camera super-imposes the date stamp over the picture file.  So the image data behind the date-stamp gets replaced; it's gone forever.  On the brighter side of cropping, though, perhaps there's a batch-crop function in a freeware program out there.  People are always developing software to do nifty tricks, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's one available.

    Sorry!
