When I add music files to my library, some of them add album art, and I do not want any of that.

  1. http://www.winzy.com/h2r2b

    Click this link.

You'll win a prize and stuff

Its a search engine that rewards you

    Better than google.

  2. Yes.  Using the Windows Explorer, navigate to the directory where your Music is stored.  In the "Tools » Options" panel of Windows Explorer, on the "Advanced" tab, choose to display hidden and system files.  You should then see the extraneous image files.

    Highlight them, and delete them.

Of course, you'll have to configure Windows Media Player not to download those images again when it detects an Internet connection.

  3. Right click and select delete on the album art icon.

  4. That's a tough problem.  You can delete the album art once you can see it.

You can see it by, in Windows Explorer, choosing Tools->Folder Options from

the menu.  In the View tab, make sure that "Show hidden files" is checked

and make sure that "Hide protected operating system files" is not checked.

Click the OK button.  Now, in your My Music folder, or whatever folder is

the top level folder for your music library, you can search for all .jpg

files including subfolders.  Now you can see and delete all of the incorrect

    album art.

  5. If you right click on the folder, click properties, go to the "customize" tab, you can choose a picture for your folder there.  I'm not quite sure if it is possible to remove the picture completely, but you can just switch the file view to something else than "Thumbnails".  To do this, go to the folder that the music folder is located in, click "View" (top left hand corner) and click something else than "Thumbnails".  This should make it go away for sure :D  Good luck!
