Text "STOP" to 62262 to stop receiving his messages. I've received every text except his VP announcement.

Yes. The next time you get one there should be an option to reply. Type "STOP" and send it back. That should work. I stopped mine by replying to the announcement of his VP by saying "You've just lost my vote." I've received no further text messages. Of course now that McCain picked a conservative lightweight as his VP, I'm back permanently in Obama's corner.

Go to his site and request to be removed. If you get email from him; at the bottom they have a place to unsubscribe to it.
