  1. If your protection has expired or you would like to upgrade your security to include comprehensive protection for all the categories below, check out Norton Internet Security. When you connect to the Internet, download files, and exchange emails or instant messages, you need advanced security features in place. These features enable you to get connected without fear of intrusion or theft:

. I just upgraded my Norton Internet Security program to get this advance intrussion protection. On your task bar click on Norton Icon to open up the Security Center. once that window open up at the top left side of that window you will see " Norton Internet Security" click there and another window will open up, then click on "Settings" and another window will open up, scroll down where it says "Web Browsing" click there and another window will open up letting you see all of the settings and weather they are "On" or "Off"  You will see "Intrusion Protection" click on that and it will show if it is "On" or "Off" and you will know what to do from there  Good Luck and I hope that this help.

  2. 1. Open your Norton Protection Center.

    2. On the left Nav you will see "Options" - click on it.

    3. From the drop down select "Internet Security"

    4. From the Internet Security Window select "Intrusion Prevention"

    5. In the "Intrusion Prevention" General settings window make sure the radio button for Intrusion Prevention is set to "on"

  3. Have you completed the installation in full and is it suitable for windows vista?
