  1. Myopia occurs because the cornea has grown too round or the eyeball has grown too long or a combination of the two.  Some people advocate the use of rigid contact lenses to stop the curvature of the cornea from increasing, but this has no bearing on the lengthening of the eyeball.  Some people advocate the use of bifocals to reduce myopia.  In most cases, there is nothing you can do about it.  Refractive surgery when you are in your early 20's may help correct it, but it isn't a cure-all and your eyes and vision will continue to change in small ways as you age.

  2. I have a friend who used to suffer from myopia and managed to improve his eyesight completely with eye exercises.

  3. I agree with dpc.  Myopia is caused by the shape of your cornea and/or the length of your eye, and there aren't any natural or easy ways to change those, including eating more carrots or doing eye exercises, which people always like to suggest.  Unfortunately you'll have to wait until your late teens/early twenties for your vision to stabilize.  Hopefully they won't get too much worse for you. :)
