I subscribed to yahoo music unlimited, and it said I could put it on up to 3 computers. But, when I put it on one of my other computers, it automatically started loading all the songs from my other computer to the 2nd one. Is there a way I can stop that?

  1. The My Music section is designed to be consistent from computer to computer. So you can take your music with you, say from home to work. It is linked to your Yahoo! ID.

If the tracks are automatically downloading, you can however stop this.

First open your Download Manager and select all the tracks that are in queue to download > right-click > select 'Cancel'.

Now change your settings in Yahoo! Music Jukebox to leave your My Music as Bookmark or Stream instead of Downloading when added.

Select 'Edit' > 'Preferences...' > 'Y! Unlimited' tab > under 'When I Add a Selection to My Music' > check 'Bookmark It' > 'Apply' > 'OK'

  2. As far as I know this can't be changed.  When you log in to Yahoo Unlimited your login information is linked to where your music is located on the Yahoo server.

Keep in mind that this music is on the server and not on your hard drive so if your concern is space then don't worry about it.

I just don't think there is a way to keep this from occuring.
