Does anyone know how to trace a call from a payphone. ie the location of the payphone.?

have you tryed the operator when i get calls i dont reconise i ring the operator and they ask for the code and the first few numbers and they can normally tell you where it is

theres an online tracing system,but you have to pay a fee and its only a postcode they give you.

Police can do that for you, and its free.

Just keep calling back until someone answers, when they do ask them where the phone is located.

If you have the number it's fairly easy. If you don't have the number then I don't see how you could.

With the number, just phone and ask whoever answers, where it is.

yes press 141 ring it and wait till some 1 answers nd ask them the location they r at.

Call the number and ask whoever picks up. Many years ago you could do this by just adding a number 9 to the end of the number, I don't know if this still applies.
