  1. there is a program called Xilisoft ipod rip, download that and then plug in your ipod and copy the folders from it, it works great

  2. I downloaded a software called 'Aniosoft iPod To Computer' to help me, It is a ipod backup tool to help you easily copy / transfer your songs , videos from your iPod to PC. You can find it at http://www.dvdipodsoft.com/ipod-to-compu...

It's fast, easy and very wonderful. I think it is a good choose.Hope it helps.

  3. As long as you have the music on the ipod plug the ipod into the new computer and import the songs to itunes

  4. 1) Open itunes, under the summmary tab there is an option to enable disk mode, enable disk mode.

    2) Minimize itunes, and open my computer.

    3) Open the ipod disk drive.

    4) After the ipod disk drive window is open, at the top of the window click, 'tools.'

    5) At the bottom of the list, click 'folder options.'

    6) Select the 'view tab'

    7) Alittle ways down the list you can see the option to 'show all hidden files and folders' click to enable the feature.

    8) Apply the settings chages, and exit out to the ipod disk drive window.

    9) Now you will see a folder called 'ipod_control' , open it.

    10) In this folder, open the music folder.

    11) All the files on you ipod are located in these files all of which start with the letter F.

*The files have no distiguishable names so either you have to randomly select them untill you find the right one

or you can select on the folder and COPY them then create or select a folder on your HD that you know where

it is and PASTE them there. If you copy/paste once you open itunes again a import the files into itunes, itunes

will automatically indentify the files and they will have thier distiguishing names and catagorized correctly.

Also, There is a program called Floola. It is free and will allow you to use the ipod without itunes. you can

add files to the ipod and remove files from the ipod. You dont itunes at all. But its not to stable I have trouble

with it shutting off randaomly. But it does have its uses.

  5. look up a program called idump on google

its free to download and a really easy program to use - its basically like itunes but u can hook up any (even your friends ipod) and dump all the songs from that ipod into your library
