Does anyone know how to transfer my movies on a dvd to my zune mp3?

Apparently the first three posters seem to think that getting the movie on your Zune stops at the conversion process.

You will need to convert it to wmv with a resolution no larger then 320x240. I recommend wmv even though Zune will recognize mpeg-4 and some mov files because Zune converts the other file types while syncing. It will even convert some wmv files but not as often.

Once you have converted the movie, save the converted file in whatever folder you have Zune monitoring for videos. By default the Zune program uses My Videos. The Zune program will search the monitored folder for compatible files and add them to your collection. Then you can sync your Zune.

When you search for a DVD to Zune converter I suggest trying to find one that also converts flv files since that is the file type you will find the most of on sites like youtube. Unless things have changed Handbrake doesn't convert to wmv but does convert to mpeg-4. I've seen my Zune convert mpeg-4 files too many times to bother with that file type.

There are websites that convert video files but they don't convert DVD files so I wouldn't try them.
