Im trying to buy a ticket from houston to anchorage alaska its a little spedy but if u know tricks to getting cheap tickets like if flying on certain days makes it cheaper or online places to buy them from please let me know

I've heard that kayak.com gets really cheap flights. also, if you fly an early flight, or a red-eye flight, it's cheaper and the early one always has no delays.

Flying on tuesday, wednesday, thursday are cheaper. Flying late night is too. Sometimes if you have stops, it'll be cheaper, but not always
