Does anyone know how to wake surf?

we tried it this past weekend and had a blast "trying to". we were not able to get up on the board... anyone have any helpful hints?

if your board is the big 6ft ones, then they are kinda wobbly, and hard to find the sweet spot in, maybe a smaller board

Practice, practice, practice....  You might want to practice using say a wakeskate to get used to the feel of getting up so close to the boat and in a wake of that size and without being in bindings.  Then progress to a wakesurf board or an actual surfboard that is bigger and more stable until you get down the technique of getting up.  Good luck, this is lots of fun, especially once you get up and can ride without holding onto a rope, provided the wake is big enough.  Weight the boat on one side of the engine, put all the people on the back and to that side of the boat as well to enhance the wake to its maximum potential.
