  1. you can get it unlocked at the market, it takes about 15-20mins

  2. there should be places in oyur local high street who would do it for a tenner

  3. Be aware that if you unlock your own phone, Vodafone will void your warranty.

You can call Vodafone and ask them to unlock it for you for about £15

Assuming it is your phone and was obtained by you from Vodafone, the upper solution is best. If it was not obtained from them by you, ask the person who had it, even if his contract is over on it, he can get it unlocked via Vodafone.

Otherwise, lots of High street or Market stalls offer such a service, last I heard in the market, an N95 was unlocked for £30 and they had to take the phone for a day or two.

    Hope this helps.

  4. you can get it unlocked at any place that sells gadgets for mobiles if your in Manchester the best place to do it is in logsight.

  5. Do you mean unblock or unlock?  Unblock is what you try to do with a stolen phone, to unblock it, so it can be re-used.  This is illegal and carries heavy penalties if you are caught.

If you mean unlocking, to use on other networks, then ring Vodafone and see if they will do it for you.  If they won't, or you think their price is too high, then most high street phone shops or market stalls could do it for you.

  6. many street on your highstreet should the n series are complicated may take up to 2days or if there experienced 15-20 mins

  7. If it's quite a new phone, most Vodafone handsets are unlocked to all networks anyway and if not, they give the network unlock code for free. All you have to do is call them. However, if you unlock the handset, the Vodafone software will still be there so I recommend you take it to a small mobile phone shop that does debranding. They will get rid of that shockingly bad Vodafone branding and possibly replace it with the network that you want to use it on.

  8. Yes, but any of the N series are awkward to do ,
